My name's Martin Gunst, and I'm pleased to present Grocer Gunst to my Vancouver neighbourhood. Grocer Gunst is my summer project aimed to bridge the gap between BC's Biodynamic farmers and the Vancouver communities who desire healthy food, produced with methods in harmony with the environment.

In my observations, it is too difficult to find enough local produce in my neighbourhood grocery stores. I want to make eating well and eating sustainably an everyday reality for me and my community and to make small-scale sustainable agriculture more economically viable for our farmers. This is why I've started Grocer Gunst. Through my delivery service, I hope to bring new meaning to Community Supported Agriculture and turn Mount Pleasant, Commercial Drive, and Strathcona into neighbourhoods that help promote food security in BC through their support for Biodynamics and their patronage of Grocer Gunst.

I'm a nearly-graduated UBC student of Philosophy, Economics, and Spanish who loves good food, local economies, and active transportation, and I'm proud to be the only Biodynamic produce distributor in Vancouver and to offer my services to my neighbours.
